My Life In The Sunshine,  Travel

st. vincent you should be ashamed of yourself β€’ virgin islands vlog

Guess what? If you’re in the market for an abundance of vlogs from my family’s recent trip to the Virgin Islands you’re in the right place!

The video below is numero uno of Lord only knows how many vlogs I recorded of that very trip. Watch us travel from St. Louis to Tortola, British Virgin Islands and get settled in my family’s rental house.

The ferry we took from St. Thomas USVI to Tortola BVI is

The Native Son (who’s website and social media presence I’m quite impressed with wow.  Hey there 2015.)

Our favorite patΓ© place on Tortola BVI is

Crandall’s Pastry Plus (another one who’s current web presence is super impressive and improved. I posted about them a few years ago and boy oh boy has their web situation upgraded. I updated my link in that post because nothing existed back then. Welcome.)

Here’s the house we stayed in:

Spy Glass Hill Rental Home in Tortola BVI

This is the migraine-inducing rootbeer masquarading as “mauby”

Hairoun Mauby (under ‘Island Flavors’ #myfoot #stchups )

My son’s tablet is

a Nabi and he loves it

My son’s portable bed is the

Peapod Plus Portable Bed by KidCo … but I found this which is scary but we’ve never had an issue.

Hope you enjoyed the first vlog from our trip to the Virgin Islands. See you next time.  πŸ™‚

NICE! I think the small plum was a coco plum. What kind of pates you get from Crandalls? I used to love their chicken pates. (Not a fan of saltfish pate). I don’t know what would possess them to import ungodly mauby. I hope you got some decent one while you were there! Thanks for sharing!

No real maubi this time, usually I get it at Christmas time. I’ve had chicken, beef, saltfish and shrimp from Crandall’s and I love them all #nomnomnom. Coco plum huh? I’d never seen them AND I didn’t even get a chance to taste them before they went bad because I had too much fruit (great problem to have huh?). Thanks for watching.

I’m about to say something almost blasphemous but I don’t like mauby, whether it’s bark or syrup. I may need to hand in my west Indian membership card.
