Schmidt’s Sensitive Skin Formula Deodorant 🍃 schmidts.com
I have done an EXTENSIVE review of Schmidt’s Natural Deodorant on my blog before so please go and check it out.
The long short is it worked amazingly but irritated my armpits so much that I eventually had to stop using it. *tear* Insert the Schmidt’s Sensitive Skin Formula Natural Deodorant. The active ingredient was switched from baking soda to magnesium (which ironically I also ingest every day for other reasons) and BLAM! I’m in love once more. *swoon* I am on my third stick of this SENSITIVE FORMULA deodorant and I’ve experienced zero skin irritation like its regular formula counterpart.
Schmidt’s Sensitive Skin Formula Natural Deodorant comes in several amazing scents, my favorite thus far is the Jasmine Tea. As I mentioned, it contains magnesium, no baking soda, and is chocked full of other great ingredients all of whose names you can pronounce. Most importantly this deodorant also works for me on heavy activity days and has a creamy stick formula (sometimes too creamy lol, but it’s great)

Quick story: When I posted that I was going to try the Naked Bar Soap Co. Pit Cream Deodorant on Instagram the owner of the company told me not to because it contains baking soda and she knew I experienced irritation using other natural deodorants with baking soda in them. LOL! Well jokes on her because I still decided to give it a try and I love it. (Note: I do rotate this deodorant with the others I mentioned because if I use it for prolonged periods of time (weeks) without a break I will get sliiiiiiiiiiiiiight irritation under my arms (nothing even remotely close to the original Schmidt’s formula or Oyin Funk Butter that tore my pits UP!))
Naked Bar Soap Co. Pit Cream Deodorant comes in 3 different scents in twist-up and tin. It does contain baking soda so as I mentioned I rotate it with other deodorants. As with the others, this deodorant works for me on heavy activity days and has a cream formula that is applied by smoothing a pea-sized amount onto your underarm. AND I just noticed they have a sensitive formula on their website with magnesium, bentonite clay, and reduced baking soda so now I have to buy it. #theygotme :-/

I talked about this deodorant in my last natural deodorant update but it’s worth mentioning again because it’s my “available in a national chain store” option.
The ARM & HAMMER™ Essentials™ Solid Deodorant contains natural deodorizers with synthetic binders to my understanding. Although it contains baking soda #becauseArm&Hammer I have never experienced any skin irritation even after YEARS of use. That said, I only reach for it on rare occasions now because the first 2 deodorants above have taken the top spots.

Hello! I would love to know if the Jasmine Tea scent is still your fav? I watched another video of someone who also loves Schmidt’s sensitive formula but she said the Jasmine soured on her. Everyone is different, though. Also, would love to hear your comparison of Native to Schmidt’s!

Yes it is still my favorite, then Lavender. My husband uses the Geranium then Pineapple then Lavendar. Everyone is different so the best thing to do it try it for yourself.
