I too dealt with a serious bout of depression and I decided to use natural things like meditation, herbal supplements, and journaling to deal with it. I have over the years wondered if a prescription medication would be more effective, but was too afraid of irreversible side effects. Recently, I’ve been taking Maca Root as I think my “pits” may be a symptom of a thyroid issue. Once I get more settled I plan on having additional tests run with my doctor to determine if this may be my issue. Thanks for addressing this topic, I think many will find it useful
