Blogging While Brown 2010

I’ve been meaning to do this post forever!ย

The first annual Blogging While Brown (BWB) Conference was held in 2008.ย  In about a month I’ll be heading to Washington DC with many others to the 2010 BWB Conference held to “facilitate conversations that lead to collaboration and innovation among bloggers of color.”

I’m not sure what to expect but I’m excited! ย  This will be myย first ever blogging conference and I hope to meet andย network with any and everyone I can.

Although I promise I thought it was in July…sheesh, where has the time gone!

Anyhoo, more on this later

I know what you mean! I still have to get my transportation in order for this, but I’m not worried about it. I’m extremely excited about this conference! It’s my first, as well, and I’m looking forward to soaking up as much information as possible and making connections with others like me, and not like me. We can learn from our similarities and dissimilarities, so this will be a great experience! See ya there!

I attended that first BWB conference in Atlanta. I won’t be able to make the one next month in DC … however, I’m glad that you are attending. You will thoroughly enjoy yourself … and you will find that Gina McCauley (conference founder) is a remarkable nubian sista!
